As a Senior IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and DLMS (Device Language Message Specification) Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative solutions for industrial automation and energy management systems. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around developing software applications, protocols, and frameworks tailored to the specific requirements of IIoT and DLMS standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (6+ years) in software development, with a focus on IIoT, industrial automation, or energy management systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python with hands-on experience in developing IIoT applications and protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of IIoT frameworks and protocols, such as MQTT, CoAP, OPC UA, and Modbus, and experience with IIoT platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
• Strong experience in DLMS standards and protocols, including COSEM, HDLC, and TCP/IP, and experience in implementing DLMS communication interfaces and services.
• Experience with security principles and practices, including encryption, authentication, and secure coding standards, and familiarity with
• industry-specific compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62351).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Define communication protocols, data models, and security mechanisms for efficient data exchange and management.
IIoT Application Development: Develop software applications and services for IIoT platforms, focusing on real-time data acquisition, analysis, and control. Implement edge computing solutions to process data at the source and reduce latency. Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies for deploying IIoT applications in distributed environments.
DLMS Protocol Implementation: Design and implement communication interfaces compliant with DLMS standards for smart meters, sensors, and other energy management devices. Develop libraries and APIs for interfacing with DLMS devices, enabling seamless integration with energy management systems and utility networks.
Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of IIoT and DLMS solutions with industry standards and regulations. Implement encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance and scalability of IIoT and DLMS systems through efficient resource utilization, parallel processing, and load balancing techniques. Conduct performance testing and tuning to achieve optimal responsiveness and throughput under varying workloads.
Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, technical manuals, and API references, to facilitate system understanding and maintenance.
