We at Rana Rachan Limited are looking for multiple Truck Drivers to work in the Auckland region who will be responsible for the below-mentioned duties:
Drive and operate company’s truck to transport/deliver various items to the respective clients of the company.
Observe corporate policies and procedures in addition to truck driving laws and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break hours).
Watch over or assist when loading their truck, verify that the load is secure and check its condition.
Observe proper safety precautions.
Plan the most efficient delivery route and maintain records of the things which are transported.
Keep track of your driving distance, work/rest intervals, and fuel/toll receipts.
Look for ways to save fuel and other resources to help the company.
Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and customers.
Keep an eye out for mechanical or equipment issues and report them right away.
Notify supervisors of any accidents or problems with the vehicle when operating a vehicle.
Upkeep of vehicle components is necessary; wipe off windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed.
Ensure that the truck’s interior is free of trash and debris.
Work hours and salary range
- A minimum of 30 hours per week are guaranteed
- Will be paid between $28 - $34 per hour.
Other requirements for the role:
Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience.
Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
Available to start early at around 5:30 am.
Available to work on weekends.
Physically Fit as lifting may be required every now and then
