Trucks are three years or newer
6 months Flatbed experience is required
6 months of Reefer trailer experience is required
Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and ******* verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
+ months experience within the past 3 years, OR
2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Benefits

Driver Positions Pay Weekly
Weekly Guarantee $1250 per week
Hourly Pay: $25.00 Per Hour
Overtime Pay: After 40 Hours
Hours Per Week: 40+ Hours per Week
Nights Out Pay: $50.00 per night
Nights Out for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper
NST Tenure Bonus : $1000 - Must be with Ryder between 11/1 – 10/31
Sign On Bonus: Pays You $1500 at 30 Days AND $1500 at +0 Days
Schedule: Monday - Friday - Must be Flexible
We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training to Obtain Endorsements

Freight: Mix of Touch/No Touch - Varies by Account
Load Securement: Strapping, Tarping and Chaining
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
