We are looking for two Class 5 drivers. Below are the further details:
Hourly rate: $25-$32 per hour.
Minimum weekly hours: 30-40 each week. Any extra hours worked over 30 each week will be compensated at base hourly rate.
Requirements:
Class 5 New Zealand licence or equivalent overseas licence
Minimum 3-6 months driving experience preferred but no mandatory
Have clean criminal record.
Able to do some heavy lifting from time to time
Able to communicate effectively and complete paperwork accurately
Job Duties;
Plan the delivery goods correctly so that they are delivered on time.
Drive on different routes to deliver goods.
Supervise load and unload of products from the trucks.
Transport all fragile and heavy items carefully.
Maintain and update the record of all deliveries.
Inspect trucks on a daily basis for cleanliness and good working conditions.
Ensure to follow the traffic and driving rules.
Collect delivery confirmation from the customers.
Monitor and refuel oil in the truck as and when needed.
Report if there are any defects in the truck or if it requires maintenance.
