Truck Driver/ Labourer

The Role

Council is seeking to appoint a permanent Truck Driver/ Labourer to join our Rural Operations team at The Caves.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of truck driving and labouring tasks as part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for the construction and maintenance of the Council’s infrastructure assets.

We are looking for candidates who have a positive safety mindset and can demonstrate attentiveness, alertness, cautiousness, is task focussed, and team orientated. It doesn’t matter what job you do at Council; safety is not negotiable.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Pre-employment Screening

Preferred candidates will be required to participate in and complete:

A successful Functional Capacity Evaluation; and

Be willing to be immunised against Hepatitis A&B and Tetanus.

Key criteria for you to be successful in this role:

Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and

Possess and maintain a current ‘HR’ driver licence.
