Job Overview
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a local route delivery vehicle to deliver goods to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service while delivering products, including unloading and reloading cylinders at customer sites.
Operate a variety of equipment, including delivery vehicles and handheld computers.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Identify and report any vehicle repairs or maintenance needs.
Interface with internal and external customers on a regular basis.
Requirements and Qualifications
Valid Class A or B CDL required.
2 years of driving experience or completion of a truck driver training course.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years.
A current medical examiner's certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical.
Ability to read and write in English.
