We are currently searching for a Forklift Driver - Truck Loader to be based out of Atlanta, GA. Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, this person will be responsible for loading material onto trucks in a safe manner.
Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
• Actively participate in Atkores safety program
• Cross train in different areas of the shop as required
• Ensure all processes are carried out with the required use of safety controls and PPE
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Load material onto trucks in a safe manner.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity;
placing materials in stock.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Housekeeping and sanitation Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Qualifications include :
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm Monday-Friday
• Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.
The manufacturing plant is not climate controlled. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to;
eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and safety work shoes. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
