About the role
Reporting to the National Plant Manager and operations manager, you will be responsible for maintenance and servicing of general and specialised road construction equipment and trucks as well as workshop-related administrative duties. Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for over 40 years and employ over 250 people.
Skills and Experiences:
Duties
Ability to work unsupervised
Demonstrated ability to develop effective and productive working relationships
A commitment to safe work practices producing quality workmanship within the required timeframe
Ability to work various hours depending on work load as required
Well-developed communication skills along with a team-oriented outlook.
Skills & Experience
Australian Recognised relevant trade certificates and qualifications - Plant Mechanic & Light Vehicle Qualifications considered, however truck mechanic is preferred.
Maintenance and Servicing experience on small and large equipment
Previous experience working in planned and reactive maintenance environments, diagnosis, overhaul and maintenance repairs of heavy mobile plant and equipment.
Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence (HR license is preferred)
