• TSM Netbackup Tape backup Setup backup configuration on clients and servers Data archiving on request by users
• Configuring host policy Backup server restoration and DB recovery tests
• Monitoring on daily backups and reinitiating failed backups Library HW troubleshooting and coordinate with vendor
• Tape DR activities Disk to disk backup Isilon Configure disk to disk backup according to procedure Monitor the daily data replication Zabbix Maintain and update Backup and Restoration
• Plan Maintain and update the operational documentation Backup SW upgrades physical task Move DR tapes on safe Vault
• Good Understanding of Backup technology Veritas Netbackup
• Good Understanding of Backup technology Veritas Netbackup Architecture 8 3 0 1
• Candidate should have a good knowledge on the understand of Backup architecture Backup components
• Good understanding on Operating systems Windows Linux and Unix
• Able to troubleshoot Backup failures on VMs SQL Exchange Oracle RMAN DB2
• Able to perform restore via Veritas NetBackup with respect to VM SQL Exchange NDMP Administrative knowledge of EMC Data domain Veritas NetBackup
