Essential functions and Responsibilities To handle a team of 3-5 members. Authorizing transactions relating to Trade Services & Finance Review, analysis and implementation of control measures to prevent, financial, reputational and operational risks Monitor various queues for incoming transactions and ensure they are actioned promptly as per SLA. Ensuring Nostro, Suspense, Inter-Branch and other related accounts are in order Ensuring internal recon activities are performed on a timely manner. Able to understand, comprehend and deliver customer requirement effectively and promptly. Handle customer / bank queries pertaining to all trade products via SWIFT. Ensuring the compliance of txns to the US regulations policies and procedures. Liaising with internal teams to effectively deliver customer requirement. Building cordial relationships with all stakeholders. Identify process gaps and work on building controls. Preparation of daily / weekly/ monthly reports are provided as per the requirement. 2. Risk and Control a. Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures b. Maintain performance metrics to track defects, productivity. c. Assist unit for audit preparation and necessary actions for clean audit results 3. Migration and Project management a. Support/ participate in new/ongoing projects/migrations and ensure smooth cut over with minimized risks - internal and external b. Assist in developing and maintaining training database, training materials, and trackers for the migration c. Support training for new staffs. Ensure training and parallel run are well planned and executed without impact on delivery d. Participate in cross functional projects at unit level 4. Revenue and Cost management a. Give suggestions or participate in process improvements and cost improvement initiatives 1. 2. 3. Professional degree preferred (MBA, CA etc) Should have first class in all the examinations. Business related degrees, accounting or finance (Preferred). Bachelor Degree - 5 + years in Trade Finance Domain out of which minimum of 2 years of experience in team handling / managing. Master Degree (preferably Finance) - with 2+ years of experience in team handling (Trade Operations/ Services). CDCS certification Basic: - Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in conversations and interactions. Relates well to people at all levels and builds appropriate rapport with all. - Ability to inspire self and others towards establishing & achieving group goals by providing a clear vision, positive attitude towards work & fostering a healthy team spirit. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and complete the assigned task - Seeks out and willingly undertakes new challenges, responsibilities
