As a tutor, you will provide personalized instruction, support, and encouragement to students in a variety of subjects, fostering a positive learning environment that promotes growth and confidence.
Responsibilities
Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and learning style.
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects.
Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
Create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
Utilize educational resources and tools to enhance the learning experience.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Skills
Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and engage students.
Ability to educate and inspire students through creative teaching methods.
Proficiency in tutoring various subjects, with a focus on adapting to individual learning needs.
Must have a reliable vehicle.
Must have a university degree or working towards a university degree.
Must live in or be willing to drive to Chestermere.
Must speak and write English fluently.
