Future skills Academy is a Category 1 Private Tertiary Education organisation with campuses in Manukau, Royal Oak, Takapuna and Auckland CBD. We are a successful and growing institution which delivers a range of educational programmes from Level 2 through to Level 6 Diplomas, and degrees.
We are on the hunt for an experienced Cabinet Making Tutor who has a passion for teaching and mentoring students to achieve cabinet making skills.
This position is permanent full time, based in Manukau.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining course materials.
Delivering learning materials and conducting practical workshops.
Marking and confirming assessments.
Anticipating, being receptive to, and referring student related problems.
Your skills and experience will include:
Experience in cabinet making and kitchen cabinet installations in New Zealand.
Holds a relevant qualification at Level 4 or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Certificate in Adult Education Level 5, or willing to work together teaching certificate.
Ability to build effective relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds.
Planning, organisational and time management skills.
Your passion and knowledge of the subject matter will ensure that you meet the needs of your students and provide rewarding experiences.
