Current Positions Available-Reel Security is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for a major TV/Film Studio in the greater Los Angeles area! 8 Hour shifts for Swing and Overnight ONLY.
MUST HAVE: Valid California Guard Card
PAY: $20.00 Hourly
Candidates are required to have the following qualifications/certifications:
• Current and valid BSIS California “Security Guard” License
• Valid CPR certification (Preferred)
• A history of lawful conduct (Background check prior to hire)
• High standards of integrity and honesty
• Reliable Transportation and a Valid Driver’s License is Required

Job Description:
Reel Security is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to work at TV/Film/Music Studio in the greater Los Angeles area. Security officers will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of patrons and staff on Studio property. Security officers may be assigned to different posts as needed.
Job Type: Fixed Positions - Full Time/Part Time
• Fixed Positions/Posts
• ONLY Swing/Night Shifts Available
• 8 Hour Shifts (Potential for Full Time)
• Weekend shifts available
• Holiday Pay (when applicable)
Experience/Preferred Skill Set:
• Production Security Related Experience (Preferred)
• Security Experience (or related work) Minimum 3 years
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Regular and punctual attendance at all shifts
• Detail Oriented
• Must be a Top Tier Professional
• Must be level headed/Calm under pressure
• Basic knowledge of technical applications (Preferred)
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Public service-oriented, with effective communication skills
• Must have discretionary skills
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License (Required)
Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Being alert at the assigned post at all times to ensure personal safety
• Customer service is a top priority – be pleasant and courteous while greeting all staff, production, and visitors
• Know the Studio property – where all entrance/exit points are located, and how to direct people to the different areas on the property/where they may be working
• Check Identification/badges of each person attempting to get onto the Studio property
• Ability to use a radio for communications to security Command Center and other personnel
• Receive and pass down relevant information from the officer being relieved from their shift to keep all officers aware of pertinent information (communication is key)
• Monitoring various activities on and around the assigned post
• Making rounds on the Studio property to ensure the environment is safe
• Being aware of the chain of command system when an emergency takes place, and the steps needed to take to mitigate the problem
• Remain calm and collected in the event of an emergency, and carry out actions based on the Reel Security policies and procedures set in place
• Practicing safety at all times to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Standing/sitting at post for prolonged periods
• Patrol client areas to detect potential unsecured property.
• Assists in possible emergency situations.
• Officers may be required to lift to 25 pounds with the direction of a supervisor.
Training:
We set our team members up for success! Extensive resilience training is provided for all officers prior to and throughout detail placement.
