About the Team
The UC/AV Engineering team provides tools and services that improve workmate communications. Engineering technology-based conference rooms and spaces that enable a flawless hybrid work environment. We have a passion for problem solving, innovation, and customer service.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional that consistently brings a high level of dedication to Workday, customers, and workmates. Supporting new hire onboarding, administration of UC/AV systems including moves, adds and changes. Conference room issue resolution and inventory control.
Responsibilities:
• Administration of room system hardware and SaaS based systems across all Workday office locations
• Problem resolution of software clients and room based conference systems
• On call point person in APAC time zone for major issues
• Local technical resource to provide on-site support, troubleshooting and conference room deployment
• Work with AV integrators to coordinate technician dispatching to remote locations for repairs of room equipment
• Run, review and report on the status of problem tickets and issue trends to be reviewed with senior engineers.
• Update existing documentation where available, develop new documentation as required for problem solving and feature functionality
• Maintain conference room equipment and replacement parts inventory
About You
Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years supporting or working within enterprise IT engineering teams
• Basic Zoom User, Zoom Phone and Zoom Room administration
• Solid understanding of conference room technology
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a high trust and innovative environment where teamwork is important
• Strong desire to learn new skills and grow within the team
• Ability to travel as needed
Other Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain internal service level agreements for issue resolution
• Inventory management skills needed to coordinate and provide reports needed for projects and break fix
• Must have desire and ability to drive success in a fast paced environment to deliver projects on time and in scope
