What is the role?
Job Title: UI Developer
As a UI (User Interface) Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and software engineers to translate design concepts into functional, interactive user interfaces. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient code, implementing responsive designs, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. You will also be responsible for optimizing the performance of UI elements, conducting usability testing, and providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities
Collaborate with designers and product managers to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into functional UI interfaces.
Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end code using HTML, CSS (Flexbox/Grid), Vanilla JavaScript and jQuery.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design for seamless user experiences across different devices and platforms.
Optimize UI performance for fast load times and smooth interactions and conduct usability testing to identify and resolve any issues.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with server-side APIs and services.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UI development, and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Provide input and feedback on UI designs, interactions, and user experiences to improve product quality and usability.
Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues and bugs.
Document and maintain UI-related technical documentation, including coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless delivery of UI features and enhancements.
Skills
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI developer.
Proven experience as a UI Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous UI development projects.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, Vanila JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility best practices.
Experience with version control systems (such as Git) and Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with back-end development technologies and server-side APIs is a plus.
