Job Description (3-8yrs)
QuinStreet is seeking an experienced UI Developer (Contract) with experience working in a service-oriented architecture, both designing and building services and websites from the ground up. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, building experiences for QuinStreet's Contact Platform product suite. You should have experience with scaling code and services to handle high-volume traffic and many concurrent users, stay current with the newest online technologies and make recommendations on implementations. You will work closely with back-end engineers to understand, design, and contribute to our APIs and build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions adhering to front end best practices.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the onshore teams and clients to gather and discuss requirements and propose solutions
• Work with Vue.js to design, develop and debug the web application.
• Translate ideas from discussions into engaging visual presentations and design solutions
• Responsible for multiple projects while ensuring highest quality of code and performance
• Work with the backend developers to bridge the client side with server side code
• Work in a small, fast paced, team-oriented environment
Experience
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility, and responsive web pages (desktop vs mobile)
• Clear understanding and experience with integrating RESTful web services
• Experience in any SPA Engine (Vue.js/React/Angular) development frameworks is required. Vue Js is most preferred.
• Experience with building components with cross-app compatibility and maintaining component libraries
• Experience with VueX/Pinia (State management), Vue Router and good to have Webpack plugins knowledge.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Understanding of Unit Testing using frameworks such as Mocha, Jest and Vi-test, testing-library are most preferred.
