Role Overview
We are building an innovative study abroad platform designed to simplify the journey for students seeking international education opportunities. Our mission is to make the world of education more accessible and transparent through cutting-edge technology and exceptional user experiences. We are seeking an exceptionally talented UI/UX Designer with a strong proficiency in Figma to lead the design of both internal tools and customer-facing software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create intuitive, elegant, and impactful designs that cater to students, institutions, and internal teams alike.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design Responsibilities:
• Conduct user research to understand customer needs and behaviours.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides for consistency.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on feedback to improve the user experience.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG, ADA compliance) and cross-platform compatibility.
Requirements:
✅ Technical Skills:
• 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design & front-end development.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch or Photoshop for designing wireframes & prototypes.
• Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular). (Preferred)
• Experience with CSS frameworks like CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI. (Preferred)
• Experience with Git version control and frontend build tools (Vite, Webpack, or Gulp). (Preferred)
✅ Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to developers and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
✅ Nice to Have Skills:
• Convert UI designs into responsive and interactive web applications.
• Develop UI components using HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript, and React/Vue.js.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance for fast loading speeds.
• Work with REST APIs to integrate frontend components with backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications.
