Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer with strong visual maturity and Gen-AI-enabled design skills, capable of simplifying complex enterprise workflows into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
This role demands deep customer empathy, the ability to interpret real usage patterns, and the skill to convert complex requirements into clear, outcome-driven UI designs.
This is not a junior role and not a people-management role.
Key Responsibilities
1. UI/UX Design (Core Responsibility)
• Design intuitive, consistent, and scalable UI/UX for complex B2B SaaS workflows
• Create wireframes, user journeys, interaction flows, and high-fidelity designs
• Simplify dense, data-heavy enterprise screens without losing functional depth
• Ensure usability, clarity, and consistency across multiple modules
• Apply strong information architecture principles for workflow-driven products
2. Customer-Centric Design Thinking (Mandatory)
• Understand actual customer usage scenarios, pain points, and decision flows
• Translate customer workflows and business logic into UI-friendly abstractions
• Analyse customer behaviour patterns, usage statistics, and drop-off points
• Design screens that reduce cognitive load and improve task completion efficiency
• Actively question requirements from a usability and adoption perspective
3. Gen-AI-Enabled Design (Mandatory)
• Use Generative AI tools as part of daily design workflow, not as an experiment:
• Rapid wireframing and UX flow exploration
• Exploring multiple layout and interaction variations quickly
• Generating design alternatives, content hierarchy, and microcopy
• Improving iteration speed and design quality through AI-assisted thinking
Must demonstrate prompting ability for UX outcomes, not just visual generation.
4. Visual & Aesthetic Excellence
Strong command over:
• Typography and spacing discipline
• Color usage and contrast for enterprise interfaces
• Visual hierarchy and data prioritization
• Designing interfaces that convey trust, clarity, and professionalism
Enterprise aesthetics matter more than flashy visuals.
5. Collaboration & Design Handoff
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams
• Convert functional requirements into UX-ready designs with clear rationale
• Prepare designs for seamless handoff using Figma Dev Mode or equivalent
• Maintain clarity in components, variants, and interaction states
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have
• 4–7 years of UI/UX design experience (B2B SaaS preferred)
• Strong expertise in Figma (components, auto-layout, design systems)
• Proven visual maturity reflected in portfolio
• Hands-on usage of Gen-AI tools in UI/UX workflows
• Ability to articulate design decisions clearly and logically
• Strong understanding of customer workflows and enterprise usability
Gen-AI Tools (Indicative, Not Exhaustive)
• ChatGPT / Claude / Google AI Studio – UX flows, logic structuring, microcopy
• v0.dev/Locofy/Midjourney / Anima – conceptual UI and layout exploration
• Codepen/ Uizard / Galileo AI / Visily / Google AI Studio– rapid prototyping and ideation
Tool names are indicative. Openness and adaptability to new tools is essential.
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
• Experience with ERP-like or workflow-heavy applications
• Exposure to B2B enterprise platforms (added advantage if platform are procurement, finance)
• Basic understanding of frontend constraints (React, CSS concepts)
• Ability to translate UI designs into basic frontend code using Gen-AI tools
• Experience using AI to generate or assist with:
• HTML / CSS / basic React components
• Layout structures and component scaffolding
• Ability to validate design feasibility by quick AI-generated UI prototypes or code snippets
• Familiarity with usage analytics or UX metrics interpretation
