Role Overview:
We are seeking a full-time UI/UX designer to improve and develop new features for our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will be proactive, take ownership of the design process, and have a deep understanding of user-centered design. You''ll collaborate with cross- functional teams, participate in our daily stand-ups, and integrate into our ongoing sprints, ensuring that your designs are aligned with technical feasibility and user requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design Leadership: Own the entire design process, from user research and concept development to final UI/UX implementation.
• Innovative Solutions: Actively challenge ideas and propose design solutions that improve usability, enhance user satisfaction, and align with business goals.
• User-Centric Approach: Conduct user research, create personas, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to address user pain points.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure designs integrate seamlessly into the Next.js frontend framework.
• Sprint Integration: Join daily stand-ups and sprints, ensuring your design work aligns with development timelines and sprint goals.
• UI/UX Implementation: Utilize Figma to create design systems, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes, with a strong focus on responsive and accessible design.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather and act on user feedback, analytics, and team discussions to iterate on and improve design solutions.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing work on web-based SaaS platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Figma for design systems, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design.
• Experience designing responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and platforms.
• Familiarity with Next.js and front-end development processes, enabling smooth collaboration with the development team.
• Ability to proactively lead design discussions, challenge existing ideas, and drive innovation.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, attending daily meetings, and delivering work within sprint cycles.
• Effective communication skills to present design ideas and rationales to stakeholders.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with A/B testing and user behavior analytics to inform design improvements.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies to understand technical limitations and possibilities.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure all users have an optimal experience.
