Overview
The UI/UX Intern will play a crucial role in assisting the design team in creating an exceptional user experience for our digital products. This position will provide valuable hands-on experience in UI/UX design processes and methodologies, contributing to the overall success of our products.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the ideation, design, and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, prototypes and mockups.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Participate in usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of UI/UX design guidelines and best practices.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the seamless integration of designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Assist in creating user personas and user journeys to enhance product usability.
• Support the design team in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Assist in the production of design assets and documentation for development teams.
Required Qualifications
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of UI design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Passion for user-centered design and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of UI/UX.
• Ability to take and incorporate feedback and constructive criticism into design iterations.
• Solid time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of design thinking and its application to problem-solving.
