Job Description:
As a UIX Designer at Torry Harris Integration Solutions, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, as well as ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across our software products and solutions. You will work closely with our development and product teams to understand user needs, translate requirements into design concepts, and collaborate on the implementation of UIX solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand user needs and gather requirements
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts
Front end development: Develop the user interface using React.js.
Backend Development: Develop the server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js
Database: Use Document DB and Postgres for data storage. This includes designing the database schema, setting up the database, and integrating it with the backend.
Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs
Work closely with developers and engineers to ensure the successful implementation of UIX solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in UIX design
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a UIX designer or similar role
Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and solutions
Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
Understanding of front-end development languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
