This job is responsible for managing executive travel scheduling and reservations of internal flights. Key responsibilities include the successful design, delivery and communication of travel schedules. Job expectations include supporting multiple internal and external stakeholders to Bank of America and delivering a safe and quality travel experience for employees.
Job Description:
This individual will support the flight operations of our company aircraft by providing scheduling and dispatching services. As such, this individual will need to have a passion to delight by delivering exceptional, consistent and personalized service that is expected and deserved.
Due to continuing growth in the worldwide travel patterns of senior management we need to expand our US based Corporate Aircraft Dispatch and Scheduling team to include a Flight Coordinator based in the UK. Our team supports company owned and fractional share flight operations around the clock and around the world. Having a UK based team member will give us a better 24 hour support structure.
Responsibilities:
• Interact and provide direct support to senior management of the bank to assist with the scheduling/coordinating and dispatching of future travel requests.
• Provide logistical support by ensuring trip coordination, planning, and flight following of all trips at the direction of the Executive Travel Manager.
• Scheduling aircrew and aircraft for upcoming travel
• Provide documentation for aircrew and passenger travel, ensuring compliance for all country customs and immigration laws.
• Maintain all records of trips, including aircraft and crew data and statistics.
• Evaluate, with assistance from flight crew, all the risk factors and adjusting the trip as necessary to maintain a high level of safety.
Skills:
• Be a self-starter, and self-motivated with exceptional judgment skill to exceed in a high-pressure environment.
• Fluent in MS office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and previous experience with aviation scheduling software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Be able to communicate effectively with senior management. Be able to make critical decisions quickly and effectively.
• Effective planning and organization skills
Minimum Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree desired (preferred concentration in Aviation Management)
• FAA dispatcher license or equivalent Flight Coordinator experience required.
• 3 to 5 years corporate aviation flight operations experience preferred.
• Aviation Career minded individual looking for long term employment in FAA part 91 flight scheduling.
