ROLE SUMMARY:
ACG Remuera is seeking a parental leave cover Unqualified Teacher to join our early learning team located in the heart of Remuera, Auckland from May 2026 until January 2027. By encouraging exploration, curiosity, and collaboration, we empower children to take an active role in their education. Teachers, families, and children work together to create a rich, inquiry-based learning environment that extends beyond the classroom.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage as a reflective practitioner to continually enhance children's learning.
Apply a wide range of teaching strategies that promote equity, excellence, and respect for cultural diversity.
Use intentional teaching practices to effectively respond to and engage all learners.
Participate in critical enquiry and problem‑solving to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching approaches and learning outcomes.
Adapt confidently and flexibly to meet the varying ages, needs, and learning styles of children.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to children's changing needs.
Committed to supporting children's learning, development, and overall wellbeing.
Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic in daily practice.
A strong team player with effective communication skills.
Willing to learn and engage with RIE, Reggio Emilia, and Te Whāriki principles.
Experienced in working with children under six years old, ideally within a New Zealand early childhood setting.
