OPEC Systems has multiple opportunities for UXO Technicians to join our team for projects right across Australia and occasionally overseas. You may already be working as an UXO Technician; or have been previously qualified through the Defence Force and are looking to get back in the game.
Who is OPEC Systems?
OPEC Systems is a leader in the Explosive Ordnance Remediation field, with services including:
Complex site remediation and decommissioning
Unexploded Ordnance Disposal (UXO), Chemical Warfare Agent (CWA) and Toxic Remnants of War (TRW) – assessment, management, site reconnaissance, geophysical survey, prosecution and storage
Conventional and CWA Munitions destruction – storage, handling, disposal, waste management

The Opportunity
Duties include:
Safeguarding
Area clearance
Prosecution of targets
Key Qualities
For this exciting role, you will:
Be safety, quality and client focused
EOD/UXO qualified to at least IMAS level 2, preferably IMAS level 3 or 3+
Have experience working in the field on UXO operations
Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
Be able to travel
Be familiar with Microsoft applications (primarily Excel)
Have a manual driver’s licence
Have a Construction Safety Card
