Job Description
This role will give you the opportunity to grow your career in Unified Communications. You will be involved in scoping and delivering UC solutions for SME and mid-sized customers. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing onsite and remote support for voice infrastructure and associated technologies
Troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of Unified Communications problems
Working with engineering teams on escalations of complex ongoing issues
Contributing to on-prem and cloud deployments
Resolving issues within IVR call flow scripting
Writing and updating technical documentation/Knowledge Base articles
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Solid technical understanding of the telecommunications space, particularly Unified Comms
Significant exposure to leading UC vendors, ideally Mitel, although Avaya, Cisco etc would be considered
Exposure to technologies such as VMWare vCenter/ESXi, MiVoice Business, MiCollab and MiVoice Border Gateway, MiContact Centre Business, Networking (DHCP, VLANs, HP Switches, Meraki), SIP Trunking/Devices, Fax over IP (FoIP)
Familiarity with SBC, ideally in Ribbon or Audio Codes
Self-motivated, autonomous team player with dedication and a results-focused mindset
Excellent communication skills with outstanding spoken and written English
