Position: Interior Design Intern
Location : Pune (4 days work from site, 2 days work from home)
Stipend : 5,000/month + Project Completion Bonus
Internship Duration : 6 Months

Key Responsibilities
Site Visits and Execution
- Conduct 4-5 site visits weekly to monitor ongoing projects.
- Oversee the completion of finishing tasks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Conduct on-site quality audits to ensure design and material consistency.
Design Development and Sourcing
- Assist in designing common areas such as lounges, co-living spaces, and recreational zones.
- Prepare detailed 3D renders, elevations, and floor plans.
- Source interior elements like furniture, fixtures, lighting, décor items, and finishes.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate products and brands into design elements.
Vendor Management
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors for material procurement, sampling, and timely deliveries.
- Request and evaluate vendor quotations to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Sampling and Quality Control
- Conduct sampling and material selection for various projects.
- Perform regular quality audits of sourced materials and on-site installations.
- Ensure materials match approved samples and design requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain and update detailed reports of weekly site visits, including progress and challenges.
- Prepare documentation for designs, sourcing details, and project updates.
- Assist in preparing invoices and verifying vendor bills for accuracy.
Creative Collaboration
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in interior design and apply them to projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, materials, and vendor management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and team members.
