Job Purpose

Head the Unit responsible for UCIC and allied applications

Automation needs to be done in-line with RBI guidelines.

Responsible for meeting regulatory time-lines.

Putting in processes and controls for the accuracy and completeness of the data.

Responsible to understand the guidelines , with inputs from compliance, operations and business teams.

Needs to program manage the changes

Undertake augmentation of the team , by outsourcing where needed to meet regulatory timelines.

Stakeholder management.

Regular monitoring of processes impacted by UCIC and fine-tuning basis feedback. Identify opportunities for improvements

Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 – 8 Areas

Actionable (4-6)

· Responsible end to end for UCIC and allied applications

· Understanding PMLA regulation and nuances of what is definition of a customer. Variations in retail customer and non retail customer characteristics

· Definition of controls and checks and balances wrt to data coming into UCIC , ensuring completeness , defining and implementing controls for accuracy of generation and updation in downstream applications

· Planning , monitoring and tracking of the deliverables

· Stakeholder updates

· Vendor management

· Internal stakeholder management

· Processes to ensure quality

·

· Automation of Decisioning

· Completion of automation of Decisioning

· Conceptualize and design rules on top or using AI/ML, bring down operations requirement for manual decisionong

· Stakeholder Management

· Engage with key stakeholders for understanding their plans

· Basis which draw up plans for the year

· Regular meetings with stakeholers to update and understand their requirements

· Time Escalations

· Partner engagement

· Responsible for the engagement with the vendor to ensure timely and accurate deliverable

· Engagement with senior level to give direction and shape to the next level of automation to be done

· Program Management

· Draw up a plan with all stakeholders

· Monitoring of the plan

· Identification of Key Risk and planning the mitigation

· Strategic planning

· requirements to be given for setting up of a regulatory data mart.

· Leverage of new technologies for data intensive prossessing

Post graduate degree like MBA from a reputed institute.

Or Engineering degree or MCA or equivalent

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills

2. More than 15 years of experience. Of which at least 5+ years should be in customer domain, wherein he should have understanding of what is needed for Customer Identification (eCIF), it related processes

3. Should have experience of running large automation projects.

4. Experience in managing RBI audits, external and internal audits. Compliance reviews

5. Ability to quickly understand complex processes and challenge the status quo, identify gaps and compliance risks, inadequacy in control and procedure

6. Strong knowledge of Banking Products and KYC/AML processes of banking

7. Resilience and are not fazed by challenging situations and conversations

8. Should have strong analytical skills
