Function/ Department: Retail Banking Operations
Job Purpose
The role bearer has the responsibility to actively lead internal audits for the bank as assigned. It entails taking complete ownership of the process - creating checklists, conducting audits as per the defined timelines, publishing the audit reports and preparing for presentations to be conducted quarterly. The role bearer has to adhere by the guidelines set by the bank for audit reports - making the audit process more efficient contributing to the larger objectives of the bank.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Define Quality Assurance strategy, approach and execution in development projects.
• Direct the development of the Quality Assurance strategy, methodology, discipline and framework.
• Provide technical expertise within test automation and Quality Assurance.
• Responsible for handling both internal and external process/governance/quality audits.
• Participate in interviews induction, training and performance evaluation of all Quality Assurance leads.
• Act as an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance.
• Manage training and continuous learning of Quality Assurance staff by means of short courses, conferences, meetups, certifications.
• Create employee awareness, interest, and participation in the implementation of quality processes.
• Pilot new practices and ensure buy-in and understanding at all levels before the widespread use.
• Manage reporting of Quality initiatives, present dashboards to senior management for developing action plans to improve accuracy, quality scores and customer experience.
• Stay abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.
• Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor key parameters on productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements.
• Champion IDFC First's customer first culture by driving the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer delight .
• Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure
Educational Qualifications
Graduation: Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology
Post-graduation: Mtech / MBA, PGDM / MCA in IT-related field.
Experience: 10 to 18 years of relevant experience
