Duties And Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of service provider agreements, software license agreements, cash management services agreement, referral arrangements, NDAs etc. pertaining to IT, Admin, Operations and other departments of the company and advising the various stakeholders on the risk associated including the possible mitigants
Reviewing of customer loan journeys on digital front from RBIs Digital Lending Guidelines, Consumer Protection Act and DPDP Act. Drafting consent language, disclaimers, texts for important notes etc.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of loan documents along with security creation and other ancillary documents pertaining to Commercial Lending, Treasury & FIG Business.
Prepare standard documentation templates, review and update the same from time to time and streamlining the documentation process.
Research and analyze laws, legal and regulatory developments to assess their impact on the product and services offered by BFL and ensuring to update various stakeholders by way of Legal updates and aligning the legal documents in line with such regulatory/statutory changes.
Provide timely and sound advice on legal and contractual issues to internal clients on day to day basis.
Any other work as may be assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / Master of Laws (LLM)
3 plus years of PQE preferably in Bank/NBFC of repute or from Law Firm.
Experience in contract drafting, reviewing, negotiation of legal documentation.
Strong written and oral communication skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office etc.
Must be a team player and take responsibility of the work undertaken with acumen and ability to independently assess the legal requirements and negotiate the requirements and set discussions at senior level wherever required.
Should have worked in a process oriented environment and be willing to take on additional responsibilities.
Should be willing to put in extended hours of work if work exigencies demand.,
