Hiring: Unity Developers at Rawky Studios
Job Description:
• Responsible for handling and managing critical aspects of game development in Unity engine, primarily using C#
• Work closely with the art/design team to bring ideas and features into the game
• Implementing features and systems in mobile/PC games, like gameplay, AI, audio, networking, interface, physics, shaders
• Develop code architecture based on our standards and requirements
• Independent work on several modules or small games
• Optimize memory and rendering performance
• Participate in brainstorming activities to provide solutions to challenging technological problems
Requirements & Skills:
• Hypercasual game development experience is a must
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline or relevant work experience
• 1-5 years of previous work experience
• Strong Unity development skills including animations, lighting, shaders, mesh deformation, particle effects, navmesh, physics and procedural generation.
• Strong math skills with emphasis on 3D math
• Experience with optimising the developed game keeping in mind the target devices
• Ability to work both within a team and independently as per requirements from time to time
• Strong hold on any one programming language
• Good understanding of Object Oriented design principles and SOLID principles
• Basic experience with version control systems, preferably git
• Basic understanding of computer architecture, OS, databases, compilers and networking concepts
Good to have:
• Knowledge of OpenGL/DirectX, and implementation of own rendering engine will be a big plus
• Experience with Unity Job System, Burst Compiler and DOTS.
• Passion for playing games
