As a Unity Developer 3 to 5 year experience, you will be responsible for developing interactive and immersive experiences using the Unity game engine. Collaborating closely with designers and artists, you will implement gameplay mechanics, user interfaces (UI), and visual effects to create engaging and polished games or applications. Your strong coding skills, knowledge of Unity, and problem-solving abilities will be critical in delivering high-quality and optimized experiences.
Responsibilities:
Develop interactive and immersive experiences using the Unity game engine, following project requirements and design specifications.
Collaborate with designers and artists to implement gameplay mechanics, UI elements, visual effects, and other interactive features.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for game systems, mechanics, and features using C# or UnityScript.
Optimize performance and memory usage to ensure smooth gameplay and efficient resource utilization.
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining stability.
Stay updated on the latest Unity features, tools, and best practices, applying them to enhance development processes and the overall quality of the project.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, programmers, and producers, to ensure the successful integration of game designs and assets.
Test and iterate on gameplay features, gather feedback, and participate in playtesting sessions to refine and improve the player experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Unity Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Unity projects or games.
Proficiency in using the Unity game engine and strong coding skills in C# or UnityScript.
Solid understanding of game development principles, including gameplay mechanics, UI design, and visual effects.
Knowledge of optimization techniques to ensure smooth performance on target platforms.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for collaborative development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with designers, artists, and other stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively under deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
