Job Description
Responsibilities
• Work in a cross-functional team, including designers and QA testers, to gather requirements and feedback.
• Collaborate with team members to map out a strategy for new features, support, release cycles etc.
• Add and test new features to our Unity SDK.
• Create and maintain Android interfaces (APIs) to ensure smooth integration with Android projects.
• Identifying and fixing code errors and bottlenecks and ensuring the products conform to high industry standards.
• Work on Demos and Samples to showcase the SDK
• Support external partners who are using the SDK and fold their feedback into the ongoing development and support of the SDK.
Requirements
• Experience: 2-4 years
• Strong understanding of Unity3d development tools and technologies
• Proficiency in languages like C# (for Unity scripting) and Java/Kotlin (for Android interfaces) to develop and maintain existing applications.
• Experience with integrating and working third-party Unity plugins and SDKs
• Knowledge of Unity Networking API and working with REST APIs
• Agile Development and a good understanding of DevOps tooling.
• Experience in custom editors, inspectors, and tooling within Unity
• Knowledge of Android libraries and plugins
• Experience in designing and developing software development kits (SDKs) is a bonus
• Passion to contribute to the gaming ecosystem
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of 2D, 3D game development
• Solid understanding of Unity Physics and UI Systems.
• Experience in mobile game development with Unity Game Engine
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience with memory and space optimization.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
