Wundrsight Healthcare is a pioneering digital therapeutics company integrating cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Extended Reality (XR) technologies into mental healthcare solutions. We are building a new Standard of Care in Mental Health using Digital Therapeutics to significantly improve patient outcomes and clinician efficiency. Medical Extended Reality (AR/VR/XR) is a new field of therapeutics now recognized by the U.S. FDA. Founded by a Psychologist and an IIT alum with more than 15+ years of combined industry experience, we are on a mission to build full-stack Digital Health solutions for mental and behavioral healthcare.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Unity (VR/XR/MR) Developer with experience in building immersive and interactive XR applications for platforms like Meta, Pico, or Apple Vision. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge VR/AR/XR experiences that integrate seamlessly with our digital therapeutics platform.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize immersive VR/AR/XR applications using Unity game engine and C#
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and clinical experts, to translate therapeutic concepts into engaging and effective virtual experiences
• Implement intuitive user interfaces, interactions, and gameplay mechanics tailored for VR/AR/XR environments
• Optimize application performance, graphics, and resource management for efficient and seamless experiences across various XR devices and platforms
• Integrate VR/AR/XR applications with existing backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and maintenance of VR/AR/XR applications to ensure high quality and reliability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest VR/AR/XR technologies, best practices, and industry trends
Qualifications:
• Min. 1-2 years of experience in developing VR/AR/XR applications using Unity game engine and C#
• Hands-on experience with at least one major VR/AR/XR platform (e.g., Meta, Pico, Apple Vision)
• Strong understanding of 3D graphics, game engines, and real-time rendering techniques
• Familiarity with scripting, animation, and user interaction in Unity
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and debugging skills
• Passion for emerging technologies and their applications in healthcare
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of Unity3D experience with VR/AR/XR development for healthcare or therapeutic applications
• Knowledge of game design principles, user experience (UX), and human-computer interaction (HCI)
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Understanding of computer vision, machine learning, or artificial intelligence techniques
