Role:
Engineers create high- and low-level design documents according to the specifications of the functional design, develop software or control vendors who develop software packages. You are responsible for the interaction of several program modules, implement sophisticated technical solutions and configure complex systems and applications on the basis of defined architectures and platforms. They test the system and program components they are responsible for, carry out error analysis, initiate bug fixing and ensure smooth operation.
We are looking for an engineer who would like to deal with Build & Environment-related tasks. Experience in this role would be desirable, but we also offer the necessary training and team integration in order to gain a foothold here quickly and to be able to actively help in the further development of our domain.

Your skills, experience, and qualification:
• Expertise in Banking/Finance Domain with at least 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with an IT focus or degree as IT specialist or comparable professional experience
• Multiple years of experience as a solution architect (m / f), technical specialist (m / f) or application owner (m / f)
• Broad and deep understanding of current 2- or 3-tier architectures (frontend, middleware, backend) as well as the basic principles of software interfaces and service-oriented architecture
• Basic knowledge of agile software development, especially Scrum, or knowledge of UX design (User Experience Design) is desirable
• In-depth knowledge of PW & CC processes with central use of release management and Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CGF (Change Governance Framework)
• Knowledge of central tools / processes such as QMS, ALM / Jira, Service Now, DAP Portal, SCCM
• Experienced Linux System integration Skills incl. Java Knowhow, Oracle Weblogic, MQ, Maestro, SQL). Motivation to gain basic knowledge of tax business processes is highly recommended.
• You will work in the area of application governance and technical transformation.
• It is therefore desirable to have a very good knowledge of several of the following technologies and products that are used:
• Java, Javascript
• Oracle (Database & Weblogic)
• Web services (Apache, Tomcat, REST)
• Bitbucket (Github), Teamcity, Artifactory (JFrog), SonarQube
• Linux (Configuration and Scripting), Kubernetes
Key Responsibilities:
• Support in the creation of business scenarios and identification of effort and cost drivers for the proposed solutions
• Feasibility studies and effort estimates
• Responsibility that technical solutions follow the architectural specifications
• Ensuring the reusability of own and third-party program packages Implementation of Scrum backlog entries in agile software projects as part of the development team
• Execution of code reviews according to the four eyes principle
• Organization and implementation of unit and integration tests
• Third-level support for applications, technical infrastructure and system software such as databases and middleware
• Support with problem analysis and search for root causes
• Organization of release deployments
• Responsibility for IT governance topics
Skill:
• Articulate and coherent communication, both written and oral.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and get the job done.
• Capable of being assertive and/or diplomatic when needed.
• Comfortable in communicating with senior management.
• Possess the attitude of a team player and problem solver.
Education –
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent).
