Title: AIX L3 Administrator
Location:: Bangalore & Chennai
Objective: Administer and maintain AIX servers.
Responsibilities:
· Administer AIX servers daily.
· Build and manage clustered systems.
· Handle backup and recovery.
Experience:
· 7+ years in IT and AIX Server administration.
· Experience with L2 or L3 support.
Skills:
· AIX VMs, PowerVM, Power Firmware, HMC administration
· Knowledge of Virtualization, LPM, NPIV, SAN storage, PowerVC.
· Experience with PowerHA System mirror.
· ITSM help desk experience.
Duties:
· Build AIX servers as per project specifications.
· Work with Enterprise class backup solution.
· Administer Linux/Unix Systems.
· Maintain software and system patches.
· Knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting, Perl.
· Install VIO Server, LPARS, AIX through NIM Server.
· Manage patches and deployments.
· Troubleshoot server, software, hardware issues.
· Support Web access, electronic messaging services, maintain a secure system environment.
