Introduction:
• To work and resolve technical problems in Linux/AIXs and work on service Operations tasks(Incident, Change, Problem, Patching) in 24X7 rotation
• Liaise with other support teams to address the internal support team’s issues as well as share and adopt best practices being followed.
What will you be doing?
• Act as technical first point of contact internally and externally for break fix, incident, event, change and problem management.
• Promote the use of Technical Standards, Procedures and Best Practice and maximize the use of toolsets and automation.
What we’re looking for:
• Engineering graduate with 6-8 years of experience in supporting enterprise Unix environment
• RedHat Linux certified
• Knowledge of AIX/Solaris
• Excellent knowledge of Veritas volume manager, Veritas cluster and VVR
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Excellent communication and articulation skill
• Ability to lead shift operation and drive interaction with senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of automation, Chef, Powerbroker technologies
• Knowledge of AWS/Cloud technology
