We are a Christian childcare centre located in Queenstown, looking for an unqualified teacher or a teacher in training to join our amazing team for 25 hours per week (with the potential for additional hours as needed).

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that believes in creating a fun and engaging learning environment for all children. We have a strong Christian-based philosophy and are committed to providing high-quality care and education for children and their families.

We value our team and are dedicated to supporting every educator in their role. We’re committed to providing ongoing training and development to bring out the best in our educators and inspire continuous growth, learning, and excellence in our practice.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has a willingness to learn and shows strong initiative
Has previous experience working with children
Possesses basic computer skills and can contribute to learning documentation and planning
Has a genuine love for working with children and being part of a team
Maintains positive, nurturing interactions with all children, providing the highest standard of care
Builds strong relationships with centre families, children, and colleagues
Reflects on and actively applies the centre’s vision and philosophy
Adheres to and implements all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
Can start as soon as possible
