Job Description
We are seeking experienced game developers to help develop and maintain thin and lightweight clients using C++ within Unreal. Interfacing with hardware and streaming data servers directly into engines for virtual production along with custom game development for virtual reality should keep this role varied and busy.
Responsibilities:
• Application of experience and knowledge to optimize game engine deployment for virtual reality in terms of memory, frame rate and performance.
• Develop and maintain optimized modules for tools that utilize game engines along with UI and I/O modules.
• Design and develop core tools into the pipeline.
• Work with a team to understand technical requirements.
• Design and optimize multiplayer functionality for both client-server and peer-to-peer architectures.
• Familiarity with various gaming genres such as Shooting, Racing, Platformer, Survival, Puzzle, Action, Trivial, etc., and the ability to adapt to different gameplay styles.
