Frontend Developer
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ Experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as React.
• Experience with responsive design principles and frontend optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of web development fundamentals including browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with browser developer tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Driven to create innovative AI features that amaze and inspire the fashion industry.
Your Key Responsibilities
Designing New Applications and Websites that users love
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into interactive web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Ensure designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across various devices and screen sizes.
• Implement design principles such as typography, colour theory, and layout to create engaging user interfaces.
Build and Reuse Efficient and Beautiful Code
• Write clean, efficient code to implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements.
• Develop modular, reusable code components to streamline development and maintenance.
• Integrate front-end components with PostgreSQL databases for efficient data access and storage.
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate on back-end API and service development to support front-end functionality.
Develop with Browser Independence
• Ability to write cross-browser compatible code and address browser-specific issues and inconsistencies.
• Experience with browser testing tools and techniques to ensure compatibility across major browsers and versions.
Search Engine Optimization Always in Mind
• Implement SEO best practices such as semantic HTML markup, meta tags, and structured data to improve search engine visibility.
• Optimize website performance and accessibility to ensure search engines can crawl and index content effectively.
Meticulous Web Performance Optimization
• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools like Lighthouse or Google PageSpeed Insights.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks such as render-blocking resources, large asset sizes, and inefficient code.
• Implement performance optimization techniques like image compression, lazy loading, and server-side rendering.
Make Your Applications Fly at Maximum Speed
• Optimize code and assets to ensure fast load times and smooth performance.
• Use techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and minification to reduce load times.
• Employ caching strategies and CDN integration to enhance speed.
Ideally, you would also have:
• Experience with Node.js, Strapi, Vite, Nginx.
• Experience as a Full-Stack Engineer.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with and deploying AI applications.
• Experience working with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with ComfyUI or Automatic 1111.
