Job Title : Assistant Manager- Maintenance
Experience: 6-8 years
Location: Vasai
Industry: Rubber Manufacturing
Roles And Responsibilities
• To coordinate the maintenance activities with the other linked departments
• Ensure compliance with safety measures by conducting safety inspection, identification of hazards, taking mitigation actions, safety communication with company and contractor employee.
• Report on machines uptime and analyze downtime incidents.
• Track and report Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for machines.
• Compare and evaluate Preventive Maintenance schedules against actual implementation.
• Taking initiatives on reducing energy consumption.
• Monitor and report power consumption as per planned targets.
• Identify and report power losses in the manufacturing process.
• Monitor and manage spares consumption according to plan.
• Conduct ABC analysis for spare parts availability.
• Maintain safety standards to prevent electrical and fire hazards.
• Ensure zero oil, air, and water leakages.
• Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all utilities to minimize breakdowns.
• Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for critical equipment.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the rubber industry.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
