I have performed Under minimal supervision, performs all duties related to purchasing
order entry.
Coordinate order status report submissions from suppliers.
Interacts with suppliers, to maintain pricing and delivery schedule.
Routine purchase order review and follow-up, and expediting of order
I'm comfortable with personal computer navigation and operation.
Negotiating contracts on reasonable terms for pricing and supply.
Hire and train purchase / sales associates to work on the floor as well as in shipping
Collaborating with the team to develop purchasing plans and find potential vendors.
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing Track orders and ensure timely
delivery
Review quality of purchased products
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases Schedule
and coordinate meetings.
Conduct employee performance reviews. Develop good customer relationships.
Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes. Smooth out problems within the
workplace.
Address employee and customer concerns.
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed Coordinate with warehouse staff to
ensure proper storage
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
Maintaining invoices and accounts of vendors.
