Hi All, We are having urgent opening for Business Development Manager_Bangalore with one of our MNC client. Job summary and key objectives: Responsible for a specific business stream across India and accountable for securing new business to meet growth, financial and profitability targets. ? Work closely with the India Managing Director to develop and implement a business plan to: ? Define and agree detailed business development and sales strategy ? Potential prospects ? Targeted number of appointments per month ? Develop and create new business opportunities ? Maximize revenue opportunities and streams ? Gain a clear understanding of clients; businesses, activities and requirements. Work with the India MD to develop and maintain an improvement plan which brings an added value approach to clients and optimizes contract value to the company. Identify and develop opportunities for cross selling. ? Develop, maintain, and update formal account plans. Ensure that regular contact is maintained with each client. Ensure that call planning is properly targeted, organized, carried out, monitored and recorded. Feedback to India MD. ? Take appropriate steps to maximize the business opportunities at renewal/renegotiation of contracts to retain business. Negotiate win-win solutions with customers. ? Assist with the design and presentation of comprehensive, first-class business proposals, both in written form and high impact presentations. ? Ensure that sources of potential risk are taken fully into account in formulating bid proposals. Ensure an appropriate balance of risk with reward, prior to bid submission. Bid proposals must include full provision for health, safety, environmental, quality, people and technical compliance. ? Liaise with the commercial department to ensure properly costed estimations are submitted and supported by appropriate contract terms and conditions. ? Provide support to India MD with regular reports highlighting progress against business development plan. ? Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labour law. Education / Qualifications, Experience & Skills ?Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commercial. ? A qualification in engineering or facilities management is an advantage. ?Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role of Business Development. ? Minimum 3 years experience at a managerial level.
