Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with experience in any MVC (Model-View-Controller) framework to join our development team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and the MVC architectural pattern.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and an MVC framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design and implement database structures and integrate them with the application using an ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) tool.
Write clean, efficient, and secure code that follows industry best practices and coding standards.
Implement and maintain the routing system to handle URL requests and map them to the appropriate controllers and actions.
Develop and optimize database queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Implement form handling and validation to ensure data integrity and user-friendly interfaces.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces.
Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve application defects.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices and techniques.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in PHP development with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience working with any MVC framework (such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, Yii, CakePHP, Zend Framework, etc.).
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with SQL queries and optimization.
Familiarity with ORM tools for database interaction and management.
Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Attention to detail and the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
Familiarity with testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
Knowledge of security best practices in web application development.
Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
