The Role Responsibilities Job Summary The successful candidate will be the part of a team building an innovative platform leveraging data analytics to drive automated decisionmaking smart automation problem and context along with ownership are key to be successful in this role The successful candidate is expected to be an experienced developer in building critical lowlatency dataanalytics driven solutions in investment banking hedge funds companies This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including Our Ideal Candidate 7 years of experience in designing and developing mission critical systems Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages with an indepth core Java knowledge experience Excellent knowledge of Multithreading concepts Good understanding of Time complexity Data Structures and Algorithm Proven experience in low latency realtime scalable systems garbage collector queuing scheduling complex events processing CEP Technical knowledge in a noSQL doc columnar DB such as mongoDB kdb shell scripts in Linux Unix environment and or windowsbased environments Experience Good to have in developing applications in Big Data technologies Hadoop Yarn Spark Hive and Kafka Experience in all or some of these hazelcast zookeeper near guice solace aeron gprc Understanding and demonstrable experience of modern architecture designs microservices APIfirst development highthroughput eventdriven agentbased system compositional frameworks Some experience in FIX Market Data Analytics and OMS in Fixed Income is a strong plus Knowledge and some practical experience in modern devops CI CD containerization orchestration Delivery Ability to think Product platform with a strong alignment with expected business outcomes journeys Advanced knowledge of application data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Ability to scope minimum viable functionalities for quick and iterative incremental deliveries this is a must for the candidate Understanding of software development lifecycle Experienced in Agile ScrumKanban and related tools JIRA Confluence Knowledge of bonds electronic markets is a strong plus
