What will you be doing
Editing copy to make it publish-worthy, an eye for error, adherence to style guides, fact-checking, a nose for trends and basic social media skills and of course the ability to meet deadlines is what we require.
• Conducting research to gather information and ideas for content creation.
• Developing and executing content strategies that align with the organizations goals.
• Creating high-quality, original, and SEO-friendly content for various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other digital platforms.
• Collaborating with designers, editors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the content meets the desired standards and specifications.
• Editing and proofreading the content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in content creation and SEO.
• Analyzing the performance of the content and making data-driven recommendations for future content development.
What is expected out of you
• Bachelors degree graduate or Degree in Journalism, Mass Media and Communications (From a reputed University) / MBA/NIFT degree will be an advantage
• 3-5 years of Copy-Editing experience in entertainment, finance, health and tech
• Knowledge of WordPress or any other blogging service
• Has an eye for detail and comes with a creative mindset.
• Can meet strict timelines while ensuring the quality of projects.
• Aspires to take on new challenges and drive positive outcomes.
• Believes in a data-driven approach to analyze the success of their work.
• Possesses strong interactive and interpersonal skills.
• Personal skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Able to maintain confidentiality and pay attention to details.
