The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user interface and user experience design, with a deep understanding of design principles, user psychology, and industry best practices. This role requires a strategic thinker who can transform complex ideas into intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the UI/UX design process for web and mobile applications from concept to execution.
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to enhance the overall user experience.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and validate design ideas.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
- Create high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Ensure a seamless and visually appealing design experience while maintaining consistency with branding guidelines.
- Stay updated with UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance design strategies.
- Optimize designs for responsiveness, accessibility, and performance across different platforms.
- Oversee design system development and documentation for scalability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
- Strong expertise in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision, etc.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, usability principles, and information architecture.
- Proven experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrates UI/UX expertise and problem-solving approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing products-based websites / app, e-commerce, or enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of design systems and accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions is a plus.
