We're seeking an energetic and passionate teacher to add to our team. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, has diversified teaching skills, and is an excellent communicator. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a willingness to work with our students effectively.

Your Role & Responsibilities As Our Teacher:

Qualifications

Teaching experience in international chess is preferred

Reach the coach level certified by the Canadian Chess Association (CCA), or hold an equivalent internationally recognized chess level

Organized or participating in international chess competitions is a plus

Proficient in English

Experience one-on-one tutoring

Experience with Group Classes is a plus

Be energetic, understanding, reliable and joyful

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.

Teach international chess across various levels, ensuring clarity and comprehension among students.

Provide class reports timely after each session.

Conduct assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.

Utilize classroom management techniques to create a productive and inclusive learning environment.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues for learning progress and development area
