US Accountant (Non-Profit)

At akm-global, we are seeking an experienced US Accountant to join our team. This role requires 2+ years of relevant experience in QuickBooks Online and working with US-based Non-Profit/NFP clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting services, including E2E Bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and payroll services

• Assist with monthly compilation engagements and audit preparation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

• 2+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting with proven experience with US-based Non-Profit organizations

• Well-versed in grants and pledge entries

• Prior experience in client handling

• Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as proficiency with all accounting software necessary for performing assignments (including but not limited to QuickBooks Online)

• Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
