Sikich is seeking Tax Manager with 12+ years of experience. As a Tax Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, achieve business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships and helping from strategy to execution.

Job Responsibilities
• Coach team, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their professional development.
• Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.
• Guide team members on various technical tax matters and work with L&D team for required trainings.
• Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
• Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact the business.
• Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff.
• Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training our team of up-and-coming professionals.
• Provide thought leadership and insightful recommendations surrounding a broad range of complex issues by leveraging expertise and experience.
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Requirements for Successful Candidate
• CA and CPA, or EA with 12+ years of US Taxation experience.
• Managed team(s) having at least 10 team members along with prior experience in a Delivery Management role for a US based CPA firm.
• Experience with tax compliance including review of Form 1040, 1120-S and 1065 tax returns.
• Experience with form 5471, 8865, 5472 and other international tax filing preferred.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks™ and CCH Axcess systems.
