Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to serve as a USA, a vital leader in providing exceptional care and support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, and community-based settings. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality senior care, and fostering a safe, respectful environment for individuals with diverse needs, including those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, a passion for elder care, and a commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life through compassionate leadership and effective care planning.
Duties
Lead and supervise caregiving teams in delivering personalized care aligned with each resident’s care plan, including memory care and dementia-specific services
Oversee daily operations within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs, emphasizing Alzheimer’s care and long-term support strategies
Manage medication administration processes accurately and safely in accordance with healthcare regulations
Coordinate with social workers, healthcare professionals, and family members to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being
Monitor staff performance through supervising experience, providing coaching and training to foster leadership development within the team
Oversee budgeting responsibilities and resource allocation to ensure efficient operation of the facility or community program
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a secure environment for residents and staff
Skills
Extensive experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home & community care settings
Strong background in senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and memory support services
Proven management skills with supervisory experience in long-term care or group home settings
Excellent understanding of care plans development and implementation tailored to residents with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments
Financial acumen related to budgeting and resource management within healthcare facilities
Ability to lead teams effectively while demonstrating compassion and patience for residents’ diverse needs
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards in healthcare settings
Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, residents’ families, and external agencies
